This volcano gets quite some attention by visitors as its crater is continuously active. As you get closer to it the smell of sulfur gets more and more intense. Once you reach the edge of the crater, you can llok into it and observe the fumaroles. A little more and you reach the highest point at 5641m altitude. It is a technically easy ascent (high altitude hiking). But the winds can be strong. From where the car leaves you, you have to climb aproximatively 800m altitude difference.
