Peñas

 

is located on the Altiplano, 1h30 drive away from La Paz. To our knowledge it offers the best views on the whole Cordillera real, making it a very scenic destination for Rock Climbing. Different sectors have been bolted already, and you can choose between over 50 bolted sport routes and several multi pitch routes. It is an ideal destination to slowly get used to altitude, before hitting higher objectives, and why not take the opportunity to get trained by an IFMGA mountain guide to learn the skills of multi pitch climbing while enjoying the views ?
