Parinakhota is an inactive strato volcano. From the new refuge at 5160m there are still 1170m altitude left to reach the highest point of the huge crater at the top ! This volcano is usually climbed within one or two days. In march and april the snow conditions are good for skiing. From may to december Parinakhota is a strenuous hike with crampons which takes approximately 6-7 hours depending on previous acclimation to altitude.

F, slopes up to 40°

 

technically easy to get to the top,  

physically challenging.
