Surunche is the closest mountain from the village of Putre. To climb it you can leave on foot along a dirt road. Once at the base of the mountain a cross trail leads up to the summit. Under the 4000m altitude limit, it is a great day hike to get further used to altitude before heading into higher terrains. It is definitely worth a visit as the Flora and Fauna are different to the higher surrounding mountains.
