Climb Chearoco 6127m and Chachacomani 6074m mountains:
the 2 giants in the middle of the Cordillera real in Bolivia
Both summits are among the least climbed 6000+ summits in Bolivia. In other words, your opportunity to live a personal and unique experience in the Bolivian Andes. Depending on the chosen routes these mountains are climbed within 3 to 5 days from la Paz. After a 2h30 to 3h drive from the capital city center, you will cross the altiplno towards these two giant mountains. The imensity of the glaciar Valley you will follow upwards during the approach will leave a deep impression in your memories and is a hint to how big these two 6000m summits are. Whereas Chearoco is a technically speaking more challenging climb than his neighbour, Chachacomani is not to be underestimated as the climb is a rather long one. The views on both summits reach over the whole Cordillera real of Bolivia, overlooks the Titicaca lake and the Altiplano.
We would like to mention the typical village of the altiplano Peñas. It is one the way to Chearoco and/or Chachacomani where beautiful hikes and over 50 sport climbing and multi pitch routes are awaiting you.
